  This place is legit. Everything we ordered was phenomenal, but don't skip the birria. Our waitress didn't speak English and was a little slow, but she seemed very young, maybe a family member? The food more than made up for it though 🤤.

  Loved this family-owned Dine-In Mexican Restaurant in Oceanside! We had friendly service throughout our meal here, the tortilla chips were light & crispy, plus they serve a tasty fire-roasted salsa & even queso dip, with the chips. The Pacifico beer I enjoyed here, with my dinner, was ice cold. My partner loved her Rolled Chicken Tacos, plus La Familia Callejas does Taco Tuesday, where they give you a deal on their already reasonably-priced tacos. I ordered the Bistek Rancheros, which had some tender steak cuts, swimming in a ridiculously tasty red sauce, with great depth-of-flavor! The dish came with 2 thick homemade corn tortillas, sliced & roasted jalapenos, grilled onions, Spanish Rice & refried beans, plus 4 avocado slices, for extra flavor. Loved it.

  Very good! Alexa our server was so nice and welcoming! This was our second time here. I love the chicken enchiladas with the green sauce...... spicy and delicious! Of course the michiladas are 5 star as well! Just go!!!!!!
