  Had a wonderful time staying at the Mission Pacific for a conference this Friday. But the best part of our stay was relaxing at the rooftop bar. The young man serving us (I think his name was Jordan) was extremely welcoming and attentive. The menus were beautiful and there was something to make everyone happy. We were only sad the bar is not open later, we did not want to leave! Our group will definitely encourage our organization to be host another conference at the Mission Pacific. Looking forward to coming back!

  Beautiful and fun vibe at The Rooftop Bar in Oceanside. We had eaten at another establishment and stopped here for a nightcap. Went up the elevator and when we proceed to the bar, quite a line waiting to be seated. Luckily we were with a local and we completely bypassed all of this and went up the ADA ramp and walked right it. We went to the bar area, quickly found a seat. We ordered drinks at the bar and, sadly, did not order food. People next to us had ordered food and we kept looking over our shoulder at the beautiful plates wishing we hadn't just eaten. Delicious drinks and really nice place to take in Oceanside's beachside nightlife. No ratings here on food or service since we didn't partake.

  Bar staff were very off putting and did not accept Canadian ID or US issued Nexus card. Our server by the pool also very rarely came by. For somewhere that is trying to be a higher level place I would expect better.

  The atmosphere was the only good thing about this place. Bartenders and service were terrible. Overpriced drinks that look beautiful but taste awful. No one in my party of six liked their cocktail. Definitely disappointing for the money spent, tip and 6% surcharge.

  My only critique would be on the Cheese Tray. Outside of the incredible-just incredible talent you have in Casey(WOW!!). And, the Mediterranean selections were excellent! But, -you can’t put Port Salut on a Cheese Tray. Happy to help if needed, but that is a factory cheese that has been such for 40 years. Maybe Tomme Crayeuse? Or a Gruyere/Comte or L’Etivaz? Or a Stilton or Blue D’Auvergne-or Raw milk Roquefort?. Want to knock them out? What about Alp Blossum? Talk to Jasper Hill…….? Port Salut says you are just serving something someone who doesn’t know told you to do.
