  Really don’t like the 6% kitchen fee and then tipping on top of it. Why not just raise menu prices instead of adding on this hidden tax? Other than that the food was good, especially the weekend brunch buffet. However, some of the portions were small, especially the butternut squash soup. It was $17 ($23 after kitchen fee, tax, tip) and was literally about half a cup. Half of was probably stuck inside the presentation jar which was unnecessary.

  I tried to use my breakfast credit on breakfast takeouts. But was refused due to kitchen being too busy. Instead I was directed to in room dining options with the same menu for takeout. However this adds on top 22% service fee and delivery fee. So we sat down in the restaurant, ordered food as usual and asked for a takeout box. I don’t understand what it has to be so complicated to order takeout. Plus the food is severely overpriced!

  We had breakfast here today, and liked it so much, we came back for lunch. The food is delicious, but what REALLY stands out is the high quality of staff. Both of servers (Juan and Jackson) were both amazing- definitely better than average. The fact that we had TWO GREAT experiences in one day doesn't seem to be a coincidence. When we had breakfast, there were no inside tables, so we ate outside. Juan brought us a heater- which was so nice. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and served quickly. Our new favorite restaurant in Oceanside! Bravo to whoever manages this restaurant. Your efforts are evident.

  We had our hotel breakfast there. It was a very windy cold morning, the hostess did not ask us if prefer outdoor or indoor, sat us in the patio immediately. Our waiter helped us set up a heater at our seat, and guess what, the hostess move away our heater when she sat another group of guests, did not ask us if it’s okay to do so or not. Extremely rude!! The buffet selection is also very limited for the price of $50 per person, nothing fancy at all. If you still want to try this place after reading this review, make sure to make a reservation ahead of time.

  Needs a little refinement. We ordered off the menu. The cinnamon pull apart bread was good but not great. The avocado toast was solid, but the eggs were only lukewarm. The scramble had great flavor, though it also seemed like it had been sitting before being served. Service felt stretched, likely due to being understaffed, and we waited about 20 minutes to be seated. With two large hotels relying on one breakfast spot, Hyatt really needs more than a single option. There’s a reason the reviews here tend to be mid. Potential to be great.
