  Be wary of the cashier with the nappy-headed wig. Three times now, I've dealt with her, and twice she's made useless suggestions to me about my shopping. Not once has she said hi or anything of that nature to me. Today, she decides to tell her co-worker about me, because I unfortunately had to go in her lane, due to no other cashiers available. Her coworker talks with me as she usually does, and walks off, not realizing I knew why she was called over. As the cashier bags everything she decides to slam the bag that has a bottle inside of it. What a joke

  I had a really frustrating experience at this Albertsons due to a cashier JAMES who created a problem out of absolutely nothing. There was one customer in front of me with two bottles of wine on the circular conveyor belt. I placed my items on the opposite side of hers, clearly separated by space. Anyone with basic common sense could tell which items belonged to which person. The cashier rang up her items, paused, then deliberately moved the belt forward and scanned my muffins, even though it was obvious they weren’t hers. Instead of just correcting it professionally, he then stopped and said, “Oh, was this yours or hers?” and followed it up with a condescending comment about how I was “supposed to put the separator down.” The entire purpose of the separator is to show whose items are whose. When there is a clear visual distinction, there was no need to make a scene or scan the wrong items just to prove a point. This felt unnecessary, petty, and unprofessional. This felt like a pointless power trip over something that required zero common sense. I ended up leaving the line and going to another checkout because I didn’t want to deal with the attitude. Customer service shouldn’t involve power trips over something this minor. Very disappointing. James, quit acting like a jimmy and focus on basic customer service.

  Today on 1/16/2026 around 2 pm the store manager made racist remarks and made many customers including me and my husband uncomfortable. She felt comfortable enough to disrespect someone because English is not her first language and by the approach from everyone around her it seems this behavior is normalized and common. We live in San Diego County, there are people who come from different backgrounds and instead of coming from a place of compassion she comes from a place or hatred. Her behavior is unacceptable especially since she’s management.
