Stubborn staff who are resistant to feedback from the driver, even when they clearly make mistakes—such as placing labels on both the front and the back of the bags. This makes scanning extremely difficult. Labels should be stacked together on the same side of the bag to make the driver’s job easier and faster. This is, without a doubt, the worst Alberstone you can experience working for Uber or DoorDash. Zero rating for the staff.
- JCJei CaldwellDec 12, 20253.0i was getting something from a locked case in the grocery store and the much older man that unlocked it for me wouldn't let me touch it and "offered" to walk it up to the counter for me, but the offer was a requirement, not a request or true offer. he stood there at the front and waited while i checked out. i tapped my card to pay, so everything was done really fast. i could tell he thought that i didn't pay for my stuff by the way he was looking around in a panic after i started walking away. it was only because he was literally the only one acting weird that he eventually realized that i *did* in fact pay. if he was any slower on the uptake, this could have taken a wrong turn really fast. everyone else that i encountered in the store was wonderful, but this experience was marred by a remnant of a bygone era. i am a law-abiding citizen. i am clean and relatively well-dressed. i do not think that there was any reason to believe that i was a thief. perhaps it was store policy to act this way, or perhaps he had a bad experience, recently, that caused him to be more suspicious. however, with my several decades of life, i think i can recognize when someone is regarding me with suspicion and distrust. it is not something that is pleasant to experience when you are innocently shopping and already had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to unlock a case. i wasn't rude or impatient and maintained a cheerful mien throughout ny entire time in the store. i was initially perplexed at the situation, but then i just became disheartened once i realized what was going on. i wish no harm on anyone and just pray that tomorrow is better than today. thank you.
