The vendor did NOT show up as agreed. When contacted, gave a bogus excuse and he stated he was unable to issue a refund because his bank account was overdrawn. At the same time the crew was left without food, he was actively vending from his food truck near Lake Merritts Farmers Market and outside his closed storefront, while posting on social media and promoting that he would be serving the public until 8pm This caused major disruption to a professional production and reflects extremely poor business practices. Contracts were not honored, communication was unacceptable, and accountability was lacking. I would not recommend this vendor for ANY event now or in the future.. scammer!

- JJjulietteDec 28, 20252.0a lot of the food is delicious but this place was ultimately disappointing. it took a very long time to receive my order, longer than the employee had told me it would be. please manage expectations on the size of a large plate. i felt the portion was not big enough. when i asked about the size when ordering, it was hard to get an answer from the employee. then they said 6 oz for the sides and what i received was not 6 oz for any of the sides. the greens, baked beans, slaw and brisket are all tasty! but i can’t recommend this food truck unfortunately.
