  KFC has usually been my go to place whenever I crave chicken, and I’ve had many good experiences here in the past. That’s why this visit was really disappointing. The food did not taste the same as it normally does, and shortly after eating the chicken and fries, I ended up getting sick and throwing up. I felt like I had food poisoning and was exhausted for the rest of the day. I’m leaving this review more as a concern because I genuinely like this place and hope this was just a one time issue. I just wanted to bring attention to the food quality and freshness so it can hopefully be looked into and improved.

  Extremely disappointed in this disgusting establishments service.i asked for a game night bundle and they said you had to order it online. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. Why would you even say it’s on your menu if it’s online only. The lady was nice at the intercom but this establishment is not going to prosper.

  I ordered through DoorDash a 3 piece original recipe chicken combo which included a can of Pepsi, all dark meat with fries. I received a can of Diet Pepsi, 2 pieces of white meat and 1 piece of dark meat with fries that were very dry, cold and stale. I suspect that both the chicken and the fries were cooked yesterday. The chicken was rubbery and dry. I worked at KFC for 3 years back in the 90s, and I know how that chicken should be prepared, cooked and how it should taste. What I received was awful! Shame on KFC Truro! You should be ashamed of yourselves for trying to pass this off to customers! I don't recommend this location at all. As far as the restaurant itself, I have been there before many times. The dining room was so neglected the last time I was there, that I choose not to dine in there anymore. After this incident, I think I am permanently finished with this location. It's really sad that they can't even get a simple chicken combo right. Says alot about the staff.

  This was without a doubt our worst experience ever. Went into order for dine in at 5:00. Waited in line 15 minutes to order as only one staff member was taking orders. Finally another staff member opened a register after the woman in front of us took over 10 minutes to be sure her order was recorded correctly. Ordered a Big Crunch combo and 2- 4 piece dinners. Also 2 gravy. While we waited for over 10 minutes to get our order we were told they only had extra crispy chicken unless we wanted to wait an extra 10 minutes. Had already waited long enough so accepted the extra crispy. Worst chicken ever. The grease was dripping from it and the chicken was slimy. Never did get the gravy. While we were waiting there was another man there that had ordered about 10 minutes ahead of us and he was still waiting. When he asked, the girl behind the counter yelled across to him that he should have spoke up sooner as if it was his fault. He was so embarrassed he walked out and I don’t blame him. This was absolutely the worst experience we have ever had in years. Makes one want to go to Mary Browns. The way that customer was treated was disrespectful.
