- JRJoshua RichardJun 21, 20262.0Five Guys in Bayers Lake went downhill since they got new staff. I was here for Father's Day dinner 2026 with my Dad, because it's his favorite burger place. We sat at a table that was not cleaned between customers, similar to the table directly beside it. The food was made well, milk shakes were great otherwise. As we left, I also walked through a mess on the floor none of the staff mopped up. I can make exceptions when things are busy. The problem is that it was slow enough that one of the observant staff members behind the counter noticed we were about to ask him to clean our table, and actually did it without even acknowledging us. I would like to think this is an unusual day here, but the trash can was also overflowing to the point that I had to shove it down with my hands to fit my trash inside. My cup was left on top of the trash carousel because there was no room inside. I used to enjoy eating here, but now I choose other local places if I can avoid what seem like poor hiring choices. It's likely a problem with management, not so much Five Guys as a company, as the culture was fantastic the first few years. Would not recommend unless you enjoy overpaying for above average burgers.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
