  This restaurant serves wonderfully tasty foods, always full of flavor and cooked perfectly. There is a nice outdoor seating area and the indoors is calm and comfortable. Love this place!

  I had the achari eggplant and it was delicious 😋. The saffron rice and garlic naan were also very tasty. We stopped here on our way back from a hike. This place is an absolute gem. The outdoor patio is really cute. I highly recommend this spot.

  Great food, excellent service and beautiful shaded patio for lunch and space heaters for dinner. Kid and dog friendly, would highly recommend this Novato gem!

  They made me so happy after my son broke his glasses and I had a whole melt down. Gave me a discount for my kids food. We came to visit California from Georgia to meet family for the first time

  We've been coming to this place for ten years now (my wife even longer), and a word on the quality of Batika in it's entirety is long overdue. To start with, our son is incredibly hesitant to try things outside of the realm of pizza, Mac and cheese, or nugs. Always has been. From four to fifteen. But he really loved the lamb rogan josh, the tandoori chicken, and oh, how he loved all the na'an. The spicy bomb is a favorite between we parents, and the aloo Gobi is an every-time order. We are often the type to order a meal to go; my preference is always pajamas at home, however we often choose to eat in the restaurant because the folks who work here are so wonderful, and the atmosphere is so comfortable. This is my favorite Indian spot, even factoring in the many places I used to love in Portland. We will always come back, and we send anyone asking for a good place to eat in Marin to Batika without hesitation. Whether you choose to sit outside in their charming courtyard or indoors in their comfy dining area, you're sure to have an excellent experience. Everyone here works very hard and they produce magic in their dishes.
