The heat has been extreme lately, and I needed some water, so I went inside the store. The manager on duty—named Ronald—turned off the beverage machine just as I approached it. I told him I needed some water, but he replied, "We don't give out water here. Get lost!" He then adopted an aggressive stance and told me that if I didn't leave immediately, he would call the police—all simply because I asked for water. I told him to go ahead and call the police, pointing out that I wasn't a criminal; he didn't care, however, and proceeded to call the police, providing them with a detailed description of my appearance and what I was wearing—treating me as if I were a criminal. He completely disrupted my peace and tranquility. I believe no one should have to endure such unpleasant moments, especially when Im a frequent customer of McDonald's. We live in a country when we don't feel safety and we want security, and I do not want to feel discriminated against or threatened by anyone. I intend to keep raising my voice about this, because I know I am not the only one; there are many instances of abuse and irregularities occurring at that particular store. I am convinced that I am not the only person who has had such a distressing experience at this McDonald's location.
