But once you go in,the vibe is different. There was punjabi music playing and it setted everything:) very inclusive and very welcoming. The Lighting ,the colors..bold reds and the feel your in an authentic indian resturant. There is even a corner where they hold performances. I love spicy so i had the chicken vindaloo(spicy!hehe) and also the chicken tikka..some pickled veggies and rice or nan bread goes perfectly with it.

The atmosphere was quiet and expansive, yet somehow still inviting and comfortable- I don't understand why it isn't packed. The food... The food... I like spice and won't be mad at a touch more than medium, but WOW. So much incredible flavor. The garlic and cheese naan goes incredibly with korma. The lamb here blew my mind- the star of the show- it was even more tender than the chicken. The samosas are the thickest I've had. I am sad that I've lived down the street for so long and this is my first time here and can't wait to return. Finding really good food in NoHo isn't easy, but this place is. I need more than five stars to rate it properly.
