The kitchen appeared to be incredibly short-staffed - we could see a lone guy back there. As people grew more and more upset with the wait, staff eventually told people about the delay as they arrived, resulting in many turning back at the door. We eventually received our food, which was the freshest I've ever had there in person. As we were eating, wait staff told the people next to us that their order was 'still on the way.' These people left. They'd been there for almost two hours, noting they should have been informed of the wait times before being seated. Dessert also took a while to come out. By the time it did, the accompanying ice cream was melted all over the lava cake. I feel really bad for the wait staff that were exposed to the hostility and ire of so many angry people. Place seems like it is either very poorly managed or very understaffed - most likely both. We've been there dozens of times in the past, but it has never been so terrible.
