  Pickles is where you go in the Conejo Valley when you want the full portion deli experience, and it stands up to anywhere in the SF Valley and beyond. The Reuben on rye always satisfies. I cannot stress this enough - Pickles has the BEST carrot cake of all time. Get a slice and you can split it with four people; you will not regret it.

  If you're planning on ordering here using Uber, Doordash or GrubHub just save yourself the time and frustration. Your order won't be prioritized and ANYONE who walks in will be served before your order is even placed in their system. Your food will likely take 1-2 hours

  Very rude employee, unprofessional service and waitress, cleaning the table and window front and back of my table with strong chemicals when I was eating my breakfast, and he seeing me , I’m eating and keep going and going , Last time I don’t a pice of metal in my omelette, I’m not joking

Food as well as service is always consistent Pickles Restaurant in Newbury Park is a shining example of consistency in both food service and the quality of their pastries. Every visit promises a reliably delightful experience, marked by attentive staff who maintain the same friendly and efficient service, whether it's a weekday morning or a busy weekend brunch. The menu showcases an array of flavorful dishes that are prepared very generously, ensuring that favorites like their signature sandwiches and fresh salads are always top-notch. The salads are no joke. They are full on meals. Where Pickles truly excels is in their pastries, and consistently fresh. From perfectly baked pies to rich, decadent tarts and muffins, their baked goods never disappoint. This unwavering standard extends to presentation and taste, making each bite as memorable as the last. Regulars and newcomers alike appreciate knowing that at Pickles, they can expect the same high-quality food and service every single time. Oh and yes, their pickles are also fantastic!🤣
