    My wife and I visited this Swiss Chalet location last Sunday, September 20th. for dinner. We ordered a drink and received a complimentary starter chicken roll (CAA member). We finished it and then waited over 40 minutes for our main. During that time, we watched three tables who arrived after us get their food. When I asked our waitress about the delay, she told us it was because we had a starter. I tried to explain our starter had been finished for 40 minutes. Instead of checking on our order, she responded with a very dismissive tone and attitude. We decided to pay for the drink and leave. We were disappointed, as we were the only people of colour in the restaurant at that time, which made the experience feel even more uncomfortable. I'm not sure if she was just having a bad day, but that's not how customers should be treated. I hope she finds the peace she's looking for, and that future customers are treated with more respect and care. Everyone deserves a break if they need it, but kindness costs nothing.

    Worst Meal ever!! Greek Salad with Chicken was disapppinting-the chicken breast was dry and too hard to chew. The Swiss Chalet sauce tasted like cleaning products-very sad!! Going to McDonald’s now for a cheeseburger 😎

    Came to restaurant on a Christian Tour stop during the week of September 7th. Our server was Chanel and was a complete delight and made our meal very enjoyable

    This Swiss Chalet location has definitely passed its prime. In my opinion, a new location was needed here at least 10 years ago. (Yes, I'm aware they are moving). This wasn’t my first disappointing experience with Swiss Chalet in Saint John. I had visited in the past and had a similarly poor experience, but I decided to give them another opportunity to impress. Unfortunately, this visit was just as disappointing. The service was lacking. Our waitress was inattentive and seemed more focused on setting cutlery on empty tables than attending to the customers who were already there. The food was also disappointing. It tasted more like warmed-up leftovers than a freshly prepared meal, and the fryer oil clearly seemed to be overdue for a change - the fries gave clear evidence of that! Overall, I really wanted to give this location another chance, but unfortunately, they missed the mark again. The restaurant is in serious need of an update — both in terms of the facility and the level of service.
