- MPMike PurdueMay 22, 20261.0Was literally just there. The girl at the cash wouldn't sell me my usual case of Alpine because "I smelled like alcohol". I went back out to the car, and had my pregnant wife come in and buy my beer for me because the girl "didn't want to get charged" for selling me my product. For the record, I had ONE BEER at supper time. As soon as we walked back in, The manager was right there with the girl the very second she spotted me walk back in. She was way too defensive. I have no idea why. Maybe she doesn't like a white man with a red beard? I really have no idea. She didn't want to serve me. Plain and simple. ANYWAY, I went and grabbed my case a second time, and then I had a different cashier ring it in for my wife and my wife had to make the payment. I was also not even driving. My wife drove me to the store, The girl wouldn't give her name, and it's no surprise why, she knows what she was doing was wrong. I will no longer be buying liquor from this location. Many thanks to the kind lady who did ring my wife in and didn't find any reason at all to discriminate against me. One last question, if you feel the need to refuse someone service because you THINK their breath "smells like liquor", then why does your store offer free tasting samples liquor? Every single person who takes a free sample of liquor before going to the cash would in theory smell like liquor.... just sayin'. You literally serve people liquor, and then selectively pick and choose who doesn't get served. I don't think she's right for the job. But thank Heavens she isn't a police officer or something like that.
