- JSJames StewartNov 29, 20254.0I have been a Safeway customer since I moved to Napa in 1969. I used both stores until the Jefferson and Clay St. store closed. Sure wish they would open that one but it is in major legal and environmental issues. I particularly like the REWARDS program. I use it for gas mostly but also for groceries. I was disappointed when ordering on line for delivery. They are fast, that's for sure, but using "Door Dash" with non-English speaking drivers is a real problem. Also, they do tend to run out of items I normally buy. Other than that, always helpful staff, good overall selection of goods, great bakery, good sale prices and nice meat counter. OH,,and ever since the other store closed, the parking is now more crowded than ever. Learned how to pick times when no so busy. Still, my go to store for 85% of my grocery needs.
