  We were seated outside, had to ask multiple times to turn on the heater, which eventually turned out to be not working. The service was slow and poor. The food tasted poor, Tonkatsu was burnt and the Padthai undercooked.

  Morimoto Asia is a stunning, modern, casual restaurant with a great location in downtown Napa. Gabby was our server and she was simply the best! She was so warm, welcoming, accommodating, efficient and gracious. She made our dining experience so lovely! Her management should give her a raise! The food was delicious and beautifully presented with quite large portions which are shareable. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at Morimoto and look forward to being return guests to this wonderful restaurant!

  After being late my self, Ali saved Valentine’s day for me and my partner, give this girl a promotion! Melyna was also a highlight, her service was awesome, however if it weren’t for them I would have gave the restaurant a zero, it felt like either they were short staffed and/or management is some of the worst as it was taking forever to get food for my table and others around us as well. I watched management only apologize to one table and sit back for rest of the time. Also watched servers buss their own tables which definitely caused service to be extremely slow. Ali and Melyna were great and saved the night for us but we’ll never be returning here

  The soup dumplings are not worth the price- you only get four and the vinegar they use does not work with the broth. Service took a while, and it wasn’t very crowded when we were there. Nice place in terms of decor and location though. However menu items are overpriced.
