  I would say that their greeting and ordering process was cordial but not overly welcoming/inviting. Some customers were having full on conversations that you feel like you knew their personal business. It was somewhat comical. No place for for customers to sit and wait for a table. They said wait on the patio, but it was dark and cold. The staff seemee very amateur at running a restaurant business.

  The portion size was great; It has improved from earlier days. The taste of the Gumbo has also improved. We ordered online and our food was ready when we arrived.

  I they appear to be under new ownership. Many things have changed. The food is good, some of the portion sizes have decreased yet the prices are the same. A side of Beans and rice used to be 6 oz now it’s 3 oz… a tiny bowl which is more CHILD size IT’S SHAMEFUL! We are all being hit hard and we CHOOSE to continue to support.

  Food was amazing! Drove down from Riverside and was seated soon as we walked in. Ordered the catfish with greens, Mac and cheese with a side of hush puppies. Fish was great could have been fried harder but was still delicious. Greens were a bit sweet for me but my Mother liked them but let me say the Mac and cheese was a hit!! Ordered to go the vegetarian bowl for the Husband (which he took down soon I got in the door) and the smothered pork chops and rice and my son didn’t even let me get a bite of. All in total I spent $101 not too bad. Will definitely be returning.
