He didn't complain or ask for the manager because she is rude and behaves as if she owns the place. Safeway should remind their store managers that they are only assigned to their specific locations and should stay humble. I’ve observed Safeway encouraging employees to fill out customer surveys to improve the store’s reputation, perhaps out of fear of facing honest customer feedback. Many neighbors have experienced similar issues at this Safeway and others nearby. I believe Safeway should not rely on surveys that can be manipulated. Additionally, some checkers are charging for hunger bags without informing customers — how does this happen? It’s theft, which is completely wrong.
