I came to Kusan Bazaar while I was back in town for winter break. I had such a wonderful experience overall! I really enjoy Uyghur food, and since the restaurant near my university is no longer around, I was excited to find Kusan Bazaar near my hometown!
Everything I ordered here was amazing! The Uyghur milk tea is a must try and a refreshing addition to any meal. I also ordered the naan, lamb soup, Uyghur salad, and samsa to go. What makes Uyghur cuisine so special is its blend of influences from many cultures, including Central Asia, the Middle East, and East Asia. I also love that the food here is halal friendly!
The customer service was excellent! My server was professional, warm, and approachable. He greeted me right away, delivered my food promptly, and checked in on me during the meal. The atmosphere was clean and beautiful, and the prices were very fair for the quality.
I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!

There have been quite a lot of Uyghur restaurants in bay area. Got to say this is the best one among all I have ever been to in the states. The place is well decorated and clean; the food is superb. I order the slow cooked lamb shank pilaf, Sansa, cold chilli chicken, lamb kebab, garlic naan, lamb soup in cup. Everything turns out to be fantastic. Samsa were freshly baked, with juicy meaty filling. I wrapped lamb kebab in garlic naan, it was a bless. A big shout-out to the lamb soup, simple but fragrant, warm and fulfilling. All the lamb cuisines here are excellent. Can't complain over the price point.

I’m a big fan of Uyghur cuisine. I have ordered their delivery once and decides to come to the store to get the experience of hot-served food. And it didn’t disappoint me! I really enjoy the Samsa烤包子 and my husband who doesn’t eat lamb loves the Beef noodles as well. Will def come back ~

Horrible experience with the customer service. Waiter was extremely unresponsive and rude. It was hard to talk to the waiter the whole time. They claim they were very busy, and avoiding eye contact when we asked for anything. My kid was cold and we asked for a warm/hot water, but got rejected saying they don't have it. Our order was somehow messed up by the store: they lost count what we ordered, put spice on the food we indicated no-spicy, and seemingly blaming us for what has happened. My kid didn't get what he wants until when we leave. We end up with starving kids and being late for our next activity.
