- SWSpake WisdomDec 9, 20251.0I had a poor experience at this Chipotle. A young man with spider tattoos on Tuesday, December 9th, at 8:36 PM was extremely dismissive towards me. I greeted him and clarified I was there to pick up an order. He seemed extremely confused. I asked if I could get sour cream on the side with my order. He was upset and bothered, then walked away. I stood there, unsure what had happened. He grabbed a container, quickly filled it with sour cream, and passively slid it on the table, without a smile. I looked at him, a bit surprised, and he seemed to not want to deal with me. I asked if he can put it in my bag with my order. He seemed further confused and irritated. He stared at me and told me, "It's free." I explained, "I understand," and asserted, "He can put it together with my order." Again, he grabbed the sour cream and walked away. Then he demanded, "What's your name?" Again, this was the first thing I told him when I walked up and spoke to him. It appears he did not hear anything I said. When I smiled and told him my name, he frowned more and hid in the side area to avoid me. Finally, I clarified and explained that I did not know why he gave me the sour cream without putting it in my bag. He told me he was extremely confused. When I further tried to speak to him, he quickly interrupted me and told me, "Have a good day!" At that point, I think I felt extremely disrespected as a customer, misunderstood, and treated awfully. The final issue was that the restaurant was unclean, the gloves worn by the employees were dirty, and the counters were messy. I will not come back here.

The quality of the food here is always terribe from freshness, portion and flavoring. The chips always taste stale or too oily. I've been getting my Chiptole fixes when I go to work in Palo Alto.
