Seems like they’ve been introducing more new items recently as well. Most of the staff I’ve encountered has been kind, though there’s a middle aged lady there who this is the third or fourth time I have been checked out and ignored, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and tell her to have a good night in which she responded with a scowl and a rude tone. It says Robelyn on my receipt as my cashier, other than that I’d say this has been a good place to visit for groceries and snacks nearby. That has made my most recent visit very uncomfortable for me considering I’ve encountered her as my cashier several times now.

I stopped in around 12:53 a.m. to grab a few bottles of water and reached the register at 1:01 — only to be told I couldn’t check out because your system “resets” at 1:00 - 1:15 daily. If that’s truly the case, why not clearly warn customers that they must be checked out before 1:00, rather than saying the store is truly open until 2:00? Resetting your system a full hour before closing makes absolutely no sense and leaves customers feeling misled and unappreciated. It’s hard enough to keep supporting our local store when negative experiences keep happening. Things like this push people like me to spend their money outside of our community — and that’s a shame, because I prefer to support local. So until this store turns around and acts like a real city's Safeway, I can't say I'll be motivated to return.

This safeway is reminding me of Walmart. Constant breakings in the parking lot, people bringing in animals into the store like it's a zoo, people in screaming matches with the store staff, people smelling like pounds of weed, and on top of that, they are still pricey. Even though this is a more convenient store to go to, id rather just go to Trader Joe's.
