When I dine out, I want to reduce my footprint by producing less or no trash. How about washing some plates and cups? You could save on all the throw away items… would love to come back if this was more EARTH FRIENDLY! We can do better!!🌎🌲🍃
- MMMel M.Dec 17, 20254.0I love Portillo's! A good Chicago style hot dog with a charming atmosphere. The day we went they ran out of French fries, but the onion rings were a decent substitute. My little one ordered the 4 piece chicken strips and ate 3 (picky eater, was very disappointed about "no fries"), but shared a bite of the chicken with me and I thought they were pretty good. They used to have a mushroom sandwich for the vegetarian option, but they replaced it with a garden dog, to which the party member who ordered it greatly preferred the sandwich (note to the company: REAL vegetarians aren't looking for a meat substitute... Please bring back the mushroom sandwich! ❤️), but we enjoyed the meal overall, and we plan to stop by again to eat when we are in the area.
