I went to the Moorpark Chipotle today to have lunch with my husband and friend. My husband and I were paying for our order when the person at the register, Angel, asked if there was anything else. I answered no. Angel asked if we were also paying for our friend's order, I answered no again. I had to ask numerous times for cups for our drinks we ordered and paid for. When I sat down at the table to eat our friend mentioned that we paid for her food. Angel did not mention this to me or my husband even though he asked about this and I clearly stated "no". II was under the impression when an establishment overcharges a customer they should refund the the customer on the overcharged items. That did not happen in this case. Angel asked our friend how she wanted it to be handled. Luckily she is someone we do in fact know. Otherwise it could have been some complete stranger that we just paid for and might never have gotten a refund. If you go to this Chipotle please triple check your receipt so you aren't being overcharged. Everything is expensive now and you should be able to keep your hard earned money. When I went to speak with someone about this issue, the women behind the counter had a terrible attitude and was not concerned about the issue. I explained what happened and asked if she understood the issue. She said she understood but all she kep saying is that they asked the other person how the issue should be handled and that person responded by saying they would zelle us. She was not helpful at all and should not work a customer facing job. Also, these employees need more training on how to resolve these issues and I providing better customer service.

Hello Chipotle Customer Support Team,
I am writing to formally complain about a recent experience at one of your locations.
I ordered a family meal along with an additional side of guacamole. Unfortunately, both containers of guacamole were brown, unappetizing, and had a noticeably unpleasant taste. Given the condition and flavor, it was very clear that the guacamole was not fresh.
As a reasonable customer, I returned to the store the same day to ask for a replacement of the one-day-old guacamole. The employees informed us that “this is how the guacamole is” and stated that it is supposed to be brown. No effort was made to prepare a fresh batch, nor was a refund offered.
This response was extremely disappointing. Chipotle markets itself as a brand that prioritizes fresh, high-quality ingredients, yet this experience reflected the opposite. The lack of concern for product quality and customer satisfaction has left a very poor impression.
As a result, I do not plan to support this Chipotle location again. I would rather spend my money with a franchise that values the quality of the food served to customers and stands behind its product.
I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
