After traveling for four hours, I stopped here just to grab a quick snack and drink. I really needed to use the restroom first, but the employee told me I had to purchase something before I could use it. I could barely think about food because I was so desperate to use the restroom! When I finally got inside, it was absolutely disgusting—no seat covers, the toilet paper dispenser didn’t even work, and the entire area was filthy. Mind you, I don’t look homeless or like I was planning to shower in their sink. What could have been a simple stop at one of my favorite restaurants (where I easily would’ve spent around $20) ended with me spending the last $4 I’ll ever give this establishment. I’ve never in my life been told I had to buy something just to use a restroom, and I hope I never experience that again. I will never step foot in an El Pollo Loco again.
