Italian Restaurant
In 1959, Frank and Tina D’Ambrosio decided to start a new restaurant venture along with their “Paisans” Mario and Enza Volpe, after Frank had much success with his first restaurant, the original “Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! In Mountain View, CA. Named after a good friend of theirs, they opened the original “Giorgio’s” in the Foxworthy Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. One year later, cousins Anthony and Louise Dambruoso, affectionately known to the family as “Sash and Lou”, took control of the restaurant and ran it for the next eight years. Pictures and paintings of these folks still grace the walls of the establishment today. In 1968, Frank’s four sons assumed control of the restaurant and still own and operate it to this day. In 1997 they opened a second location in Milpitas, CA, where they still offer the highest standard of quality food, service, and value to their customers. Bon Appetit!!

- STS T3 days ago4.0日本人のレビューです。2026年4月に来訪。たまにはイタリアンの料理をと思って来ました。 お店の雰囲気は良く、サービスも好感が持てます。 お料理が来る前に前菜のパンが来るのですが、ここで食べすぎてピザとパスタが重くのしかかるという自分たちの設計ミスが発生し、思ったほど美味しく食べられなかったです😅皆さんは食べすぎないようにしてください。 そして、海外のイタリアンレストランでありがちな日本の文化との違いが気になりました。パスタは日本では当たり前のアルデンテでない、ベチャッとしたパスタであることと、パスタをスプーンとフォークで食べないところ。ピザのパン生地が日本では薄いのが普通なので分厚い生地に違和感を感じるため、このお店が全く悪いわけではないのですが、少し口に合わないかなーというレベルです。よって次回、日本人と一緒にこのお店に来ることはないかなと思いました。 日本人好みの薄い生地のピザならCicero's Pizzaが美味しいです。 ただ、レビューを見ている限り、現地の方の評判はいいので、現地の方と食事をする場合はこのお店は良いと思います！

It's not something which is rare or an Italian restaurant wouldn't have it neither it had to be prepared. With limited vegetarian options, the server was not ready to go a step beyond and present is with alternatives. Preparing a pasta dish with pesto - extra charge for pesto, adding veggies to a pasta dish - extra charge for veggies. It felt like we have come to a restaurant in remote place where you a premium for everything.Food was good and I am not at all complaining about that but service or server was average. When asked to get extra drinks menu we were told that they could give only 1 menu.
