Tasty Uyghur cuisine served at this charming restaurant in Milpitas. Clean, bright, and airy interior, all the food we tried was well-seasoned. Beef noodle soup was a perfect ratio of noodles to broth, and the beef was soft and flavorful. Kebabs were decent portions, and the homemade yogurt hit the spot. Fast and efficient service. Large free parking lot.

I don’t want to add on the stereotype, but this is a typical “Asian fusion” restaurant where American may enjoy but there are lots of improvements.
First of all is the temperature. For a western style kitchen where food preparation is already super slow, it is a disappointment when your served dish is cold. I’d suggest prewarm the plates and reconsider the presentation (e.g. bowl, sauce/soup) to retain the heat. And active use of the warming light.
I find that the food is better for certain “standardized” dishes, like Samsa (baked pastry). Other dishes unfortunately expose the limitations of the kitchen staff.
Service is nice. But certainly under staffed.

Really glad we found this place! The slow-roasted lamb shank was amazing — super tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The lamb noodles tasted homemade by my grandma lol.
The restaurant is new and has a great vibe — clean, bright, and welcoming. Definitely one of the best new spots in town for Xinjiang (Uyghur) food. We’ll be coming back for sure!

Pretty solid spot for Uyghur food. This is one of those cuisines that's a little hard to find in this part of the Bay, so I decided to try it out with some friends. We ordered the laghman, big plate chicken flat noodles, lamb cumin chao mian, lamb dumplings with cabbage, and eggplant with mashed garlic. They were all very fresh, flavourful, delicious, and came with portions big enough to share. The service is kinda slow, and the staff are polite but not proactive. The restaurant is very well maintained and has nice decor and ambiance. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.

⭐️ 1 out of 5 – Disappointing Experience
I was excited to try Kusan Buzzar in Milpitas because they make handmade noodles and the place looked clean with an open kitchen. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
The restroom was dirty, which made me question how clean the kitchen really is. Service was terrible — our waiter never checked on us, and a nearby table of four waited 25 minutes before finding out their order was never placed.
The soup was good, but the beef dumplings were awful — cheap, gristly meat. The “slow-cooked” lamb shank was tough and barely edible. When I mentioned it, the waiter just said he’d pass along the message.
Lunch for two came to $76 plus tip, and it definitely wasn’t worth it. Poor service, subpar food, and a dirty restroom — I won’t be back.
Save your money and your time.
