  This is the worst Safeway I have ever visited in my entire life. I have lived in the United States for few years now; I am an immigrant woman who came here on a student visa—something I paid a very high price for. I was in the store, heading toward the meat section, when a person who appeared to be from the maintenance staff began speaking into his headset about me, remarking that I "looked good." Since the store was nearing closing time, he was likely receiving orders from a superior. A short while later, I was carrying a lot of items in my hands and headed toward the shopping carts to lighten my load. That same individual approached me, acting as if he were looking for me. I was not poorly dressed; I simply looked tired, having just come from college and work. However, this experience was extremely humiliating for me, and I will never return to this store. I will most certainly file a formal complaint and request the security camera footage. The worst customer service imaginable—the employees are incredibly rude. And, ironically enough, the very people discriminating against others might very well be immigrants themselves too.

  Food is descent, BBQ is not too fat (I personally prefer lean pork) unfortunately at 3pm roast pork was sold out

  My experience at the Safeway was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We stopped by the food court in the morning to make a simple food purchase, but the customer service was honestly some of the worst I’ve experienced. When we arrived, we stood there for about a minute with zero acknowledgment from anyone working there. The staff seemed completely disengaged, like everyone was in their own little world and no one cared about helping customers. The overall atmosphere felt very negative, almost like the employees were unhappy to be there. It honestly felt like the staff either hate their jobs, dislike working with each other, or are frustrated with management—because the energy throughout the place was just really bad. The entire experience left such a poor impression that I would not recommend this location to anyone. I’m not sure what’s going on at this Safeway, but something clearly needs improvement. Overall, this was a very unpleasant visit, and I hope management takes a closer look at the customer experience here.
