Original Joe’s is a restaurant that welcomes everyone. We have craveable classics for lunch or dinner, down-to-earth vibes and a friendly team looking to brighten your day! Original Joe’s Unicity is located just inside the perimeter highway on Portage Avenue West. We’ve been catering to Winnipeg’s St. James neighbourhood for nearly a decade. Our patio is one of the largest in this part of the city (you’ll have to come check it out) and boasts a beautiful exterior TV to watch summer sporting events on. We’re a short drive away from the Assiniboia Downs where you can enjoy live horse racing or the Bell MTS Iceplex, which is open year-round. You can take in a few rounds of golf at the Glen Dale Golf & Country Club or visit the Red River Exhibition Park for various events. - CCCarrieJun 28, 20261.0I came in tonight and I come in quite often usually every Saturday actually, my service tonight was terrible, I ordered bruschetta and nachos to start, the nachos were a birthday gift from you guys, it was my husband's birthday, those came out and no bruschetta, we ask our server is she like oh I don't know I guess the kitchen missed it, I honestly think she forgot to punch it in, just by the way she looked, it finally comes out, pretty much with our food, now my food was not cooked probably, I asked for a medium well steak and it was rare, and fries were so salty, she comes back and I tell her she basically looks at me like I am stupid, and looks at her tablet to see what I ordered and she is like what do u wanna do about it,she is like want it remade, I was like yes, and my husband said can I get new fries these are salty, long wait for second steak, now normally when a meal is messed up they bring the whole meal, well I got my steak which was yet not cooked right, over done in most spots, and there was a side of fries and she says is this enough fries for you guys to share and no side plate for him, by then I was just done, bill comes out, and my nachos are on there, she is like oh sorry I forgot and then I noticed the bruschetta I was charged full price, I was like I thought its Appy hour, she again looked at me like I was stupid and said well you were looking at the main menu so I thought you wanted that one,I said is there a difference in size she said no just price, but she fixed it and I was looking at main menu to figure out what I was going to eat, I will be sure to specify next time, but honestly I should not even of been charged for it, thankfully I was not charged for my steak but still it wasn't even cooked right second time and this is almost every time I order steak it doesn't come cooked right, but last Saturday I came in with my son and daughter this time and we both got mid well and shout out to cooks it was amazing, ,but I don't know when I will be back as this time I left very un happy and I never needed to do a review before as it's never been this bad, and it was my husband's birthday dinner

Anytime I've come here between the hours of 1pm-7pm the service has been atrocious. The servers seem to consistently forget about their tables. I've watched servers bounce back and forth between socializing with each other and seating patrons. How in the world does a group of 3-4 servers fails to attend to a restaurant at 15% capacity is beyond me.

I also had the French onion soup. While it was piping hot it lacked flavor hardly any onion in a Grey broth and filled up with lots of bread. I wouldn't go back for that meal
