  This is my 3rd time going to this location. Everything was good. It was always fresh. But tonight I went through the drive-thru to purchase their 8 piece special with 2 individual fries for $19.99. I waited over 10 minutes saying they needed to make fresh fries. When i got my order the fries were cold! To add to it I only got 6 pieces! I even had my wife double check the amount and in fact it was 6 pieces. Chicken was cold as well. Some parts still looked bloody! Horrible, horrible! They even said “sorry” for the wait. The nerve! Will never go back to this location! Incompetent staff!

  Visited the newly opened KFC today and had a great experience. The restaurant was clean, bright, and well organized. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and served the food quickly despite it being busy. The chicken was hot, crispy, and freshly cooked, and the fries were fresh too. Overall, the food quality and customer service were excellent. A great addition to the area—I’ll definitely be coming back!

  The original recipe sliders were actually served hot and and the amount of sauce was fair and not a rip off. Nothing wrong with the fountain drink options but wish there was Brisk Lemonade or Mountain Dew Baja Blast.

  Don't believe all the fake 5* reviews for this location. Take the trip to unicity much better quality and service. Sadly they don't know how to honor the coupons on the KFC website. Also don't change their oil 🪔 and let the chicken 🍗 sit out too long in most cases. Hard to find good help nowadays sadly 😔

  I recently visited the KFC on Portage Avenue in Winnipeg, and my overall experience was decent, which is why I'm giving it three stars. The food was what I expected from KFC—fresh, flavorful, and served within a reasonable amount of time. The staff were polite and handled my order professionally, and the restaurant appeared to be clean and well-maintained. However, one issue really affected my visit, especially considering how hot this summer has been. The air conditioning inside the restaurant was barely noticeable. Instead of feeling cool and comfortable while enjoying my meal, the dining area felt warm and stuffy. On a day with high temperatures, I expected the restaurant to provide a cool environment where customers could escape the heat for a while, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I noticed that other customers also seemed uncomfortable, and it made it difficult to fully enjoy dining in. After spending time outside in the summer heat, walking into a restaurant should feel refreshing. Instead, it felt like there was very little difference between being indoors and outdoors. I don't know if the air conditioning system wasn't working properly or simply wasn't set low enough, but it definitely needs attention. Aside from that, I have no major complaints. The food tasted good, the service was friendly, and my order was accurate. Those are all important factors, and the staff deserve credit for doing their jobs well. My rating is not a reflection of the employees but rather the overall comfort of the dining experience. I hope management looks into improving the air conditioning, especially during the hottest months of the year. A comfortable dining environment makes a big difference, and better cooling would encourage customers to stay longer and enjoy their meals. If the air conditioning is improved, I would gladly return and could easily see this location earning a higher rating in the future.
