I cant stay away from this place, ive ordered many other items which were also top notch but the chicken fingers might be the best in the city....

I was genuinely disappointed by our visit.
Our group came to the restaurant on Saturday, June 27, to watch the Argentina vs. Jordan game and were looking forward to a good evening with friends. We completely understood that the restaurant was understaffed. I’ve worked in hospitality myself, so I know how overwhelming busy shifts can be, and we were more than happy to be patient.
The problem wasn’t the wait—it was how we were spoken to. We waited a long time before anyone brought us water or drinks, and when we politely asked, we were told to be patient in a tone that felt rude and dismissive.
Later, when two more friends arrived, we asked if we could get two extra chairs. Instead of trying to help, the server simply said they couldn’t go to other tables to get chairs for us. The interaction felt as though helping us was an inconvenience.
What really stayed with me was the contrast in how nearby tables were being treated. The staff seemed friendly, attentive, and courteous with other guests, while our group consistently felt ignored and spoken to differently. I can’t say why that happened, but as immigrants in Canada, it left us feeling unwelcome and wondering whether we were being treated differently because of our background.
Everyone deserves to be treated with the same level of respect regardless of where they come from. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because no customer should leave feeling the way we did.

An Unwelcoming Experience That Felt Discriminatory
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it.
A group of friends and I came to watch the Argentina vs Jordan game on Saturday, June 27th expecting a welcoming atmosphere. We understand that restaurants can be short-staffed—I have worked in the service industry myself, so I genuinely empathize with how challenging that can be. We were more than willing to be patient.
However, what made this experience upsetting wasn’t the wait itself—it was the way we were treated.
We waited an unusually long time just to receive water and drinks. When we politely asked about it, we were told to “be patient” because they were understaffed. While that explanation was understandable, the tone in which it was delivered felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude.
Later, two of our friends arrived, and we politely asked if it would be possible to bring over two extra chairs so they could join us. The server responded, “I cannot go to other tables and ask for chairs for you guys.” The response felt abrupt and unhelpful, especially since we were simply asking if there was any way to accommodate two additional people.
What left the strongest impression, though, was the noticeable difference in how we were treated compared with other tables around us. We observed the staff interacting warmly, patiently, and respectfully with nearby tables, while our group consistently received a much colder and more dismissive attitude. We cannot know the reason for this difference, but as immigrants living in Canada, it left us feeling like we were being treated differently because of who we are. That feeling was deeply hurtful.
Canada is known for its diversity and inclusiveness, which is one of the reasons many of us choose to build our lives here. To leave a restaurant feeling unwelcome instead of valued was incredibly disappointing.
This review is not about a long wait or an understaffed restaurant—we understand those realities. It’s about basic respect, professionalism, and making every customer feel equally welcome. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously so that no other guests leave feeling the way we did.
