The staff here are great. Especially the night workers. I have not visited much during the day. The store is very clean. They also keep up with their produce pretty well. However, Pavilions can be pretty expensive. I can only recommend if you're on a budget check for sales and sign up for their rewards program.

Wish I could give 0 stars. The bike rack is cut so thrives can slip locks off the rack to steel bikes. When I alerted the manager she said not our problem. I wouldn’t use the rack. Terrible customer experience. They should be embarrassed by their employees.

Great spot and friendly employees. Come here every day.
The Pokemon loitering is getting out of hand though. Make people purchase stuff if they plan on standing in your store for hours.

I leave this review because I went to buy my coffee at the Starbucks inside Pavilions and they didn’t have tip option on their POS machine !
I would like to that fixed on my next visit.

This is my neighborhood store, and I shop here regularly. I’ve had enough experiences to write a review many times before, but I usually don’t bother because I assume it won’t make much of a difference.
Overall, most of the employees here are polite, and some are even friendly and helpful. The gentleman who works in the bakery is especially wonderful—always professional, helpful, and pleasant. The woman working in the hot food department is also great. They both represent what good customer service should look like.
Unfortunately, there is one employee who completely undermines that experience.
Dear Pavilion management: one of your leads/managers here is consistently rude and unnecessarily aggressive toward customers, like a drill surgeon. Except that we are at a grocery store in Marina Del Rey
I don’t want to misgender anyone, so I’ll just describe them as a Hispanic employee with short dark hair (shaved on the sides) and tattoos on their arms.
Every interaction I’ve had with this person has been negative. They seem to believe that being a manager means barking orders at customers for no reason. Most recently, I was simply standing at the computer waiting for assistance when they came up behind me and shouted, “Move away from the computer, stand over there.”
This is not the first time I’ve experienced this kind of attitude from them. It’s always the same energy—hostile and unnecessarily confrontational.
This employee clearly needs retraining. If they dislike working with customers, perhaps a role that doesn’t involve direct interaction would be better suited for them.
Having a title at a grocery store...or anywhere, does not give someone the right to be unprofessional or uncouth.
We’re all human beings, and customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.
Take a lesson from your bakery employee and the staff at the hot food department. They demonstrate professionalism and kindness every day.
Pavilions can do better. I’m genuinely surprised that someone with this kind of attitude represents the store as a manager.
