The food, the drinks, the service, the ambience...the LOT! Afterwards, I brought another (carnivorous) friend who was visiting from out of town to eat at Planta. She was only in town for 5 days but she loved it so much she insisted we go back two more times before she had to fly back home (...the Dragon roll and Japanese steak are our top picks!) This place is just wonderful...my new favorite "Go To" not just for vegan cuisine, but for a splendid, enjoyable meal for ANYONE who simply appreciates good food and a great eating experience!

When we walked in we felt a little underdressed for how lovely this place is , but the hostess/ GM(found out later) welcomed us. Now my compatriots were super skeptical since it was a vegetarian spot, but they were so wrong. We ordered some apps for us all to share and every plate was cleaned. When you have a place where you have a great vibe, friendly/efficient staff, and delicious food how could you go wrong.

We had the summer rolls, 1000 layer potatoes, wafu crunch salad and queso fundido. All delicious. The potatoes looked the most interesting but probably had the most subtle flavour- the sour cream, chives and caviar didn’t come through the potato but still really nice. Dog-friendly patio with nice views over the harbour, too

During our next visit, I intend to capture the presentation of the dishes to share through photographs. I was particularly impressed by the valet parking service; John's exceptional solicitude in assisting my mother merits special commendation and recognition.
