  Not sure what the deal was, came here looking forward to some great food and we received four dishes of bland (the best part was the apple sauce on the soft crab). Major disappointment!

  I visited this place after seeing it recommended on the YouTube channel "Rockstar Eater" for its delicious Thai boat noodles—and they turned out to be the best boat noodles I’ve ever had. I think they might just be the best in all of L.A. I also really loved the fried rice, and the Pad See Ew was perfectly suited to my palate. The prices are affordable, too; I’m so happy to have found such a fantastic restaurant!

  Sapp Coffee Shop was an excellent dining experience from start to finish. The portions were very generous, the prices were reasonable, and every dish we tried was packed with flavor. The highlight of the meal was the Everything Boat Noodles. The broth was dark, rich, and incredibly complex, with deep, layered flavors that made the soup absolutely irresistible. The variety of meats in the bowl added great texture and depth, and the crispy pork brought a satisfying crunch that contrasted beautifully with the silky noodles and savory broth. The chicken fried rice was another pleasant surprise. While it’s a simple dish, it was cooked perfectly and very well balanced. A squeeze of lime brightened the flavors and gave the rice a fresh lift that made it even more enjoyable. We also ordered the Drunken Noodles with crispy pork, which were delicious. The wide noodles were coated in a bold, savory sauce, and the crispy pork added both flavor and texture that made the dish especially satisfying. To finish the meal, we had Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee (not pictured). Both were sweet, creamy, and the perfect complement to the rich and hearty dishes we shared. Overall, Sapp Coffee Shop delivers big on flavor, portion size, and value. It’s easy to see why this place has such a strong reputation. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we want to try next time.
