  I took my grandpa on a trip to Los Angeles from the Bay Area, and since we’re Nepalese, he really wanted a taste of home. My younger cousin had been hyping this place up because of TikTok, so we decided to check it out. My other cousin, who’s been there a few times, did warn us that the food might be a bit bland but we still went in excited. Honestly, we were really looking forward to it, but it ended up being disappointing. The momo were super small, barely had any filling, and just didn’t hit the way we’re used to. It felt like it wasn’t really made for our taste. It might live up to the hype for others, but for Nepalese people or anyone used to authentic flavors, you might not enjoy it as much.

  We ordered in from their website so I can’t say anything about their atmosphere. The order process was easy and the DoorDash was easy and on time. We were very excited for the food but the food was disappointing. The momo were made using machine the wrapper were too thick and the sauce was not very good. The fried rice was better. The achari momo was the worse.

  First time trying Nepalese food and based on the experience it will not be my last! Had chicken momos in achari sauce and butter chicken curry - both were fantastic, well-spiced but not too spicy. Also had chai which was nice. Honestly food was really, really good and great value for money. Place was packed the whole time we were there (go early to get a seat or assume you will be waiting a bit). Only quibble is that the music was a little bit loud but we didn't ask them to turn it down (they probably would have). Go with confidence!

  Tried this spot in LA and came away really impressed. The momos were done right across the board, but the kurkure momos definitely stood out—crispy on the outside with a ton of flavor, and the cilantro mayo paired perfectly with them. We also had the chili momos, which had a nice level of heat without taking over the dish. The paneer veggie momos were fresh, well-seasoned, and really satisfying too. Overall, everything felt balanced and thoughtfully made. Definitely a place I’d come back to and try more from the menu.
