  As a patron of Magnolia Bakery since 1996 in NYC, I can taste the difference in the pastries, especially with the cookies and cheesecake from the NYC locations to the LA location. The NYC locations markedly have a better taste and texture than LA's location. LA has got to be doing something different, because what I order in NYC (for 30 years) compared to LA, has a different taste and texture. NYC is heavily favored.

  Incredible desserts and the best mocha and hot chocolate i’ve ever had. They went above and beyond to serve my family and I. A must if you are in Los Angeles.

  Tried the classic and the coconut special, both were fantastic. Not too sweet and lighter than it looks.

  You can’t do LA without stopping by Magnolia Bakery. Their banana pudding absolutely lives up to the hype — rich, creamy, perfectly sweet, and packed with fresh bananas and soft vanilla wafers. Every bite tastes fresh and indulgent without being too heavy. It’s one of those desserts you keep thinking about long after you leave. I loved it so much I even ordered extra to go. The staff were also helpful and friendly. Definitely a must-have whenever you’re in Los Angeles!

  Ordered a custom cake from here. I asked for a 3D tulip design on a two tier cake and it looked horrible. Hardly any flowers and they were iced on flat. Also the cakes were not layered appropriately and sit at a slant.
