For me this is one of the best sub places out there, top 3 in the country, I like the Gragantuan with 5 different meats, and you can get the 16 inch bread, cant really beat that paired with a bag of chips, this place is accessible to my as its on my way to work, I wish they would have more space inside to create a better experience and atmopshere if I wanted to eat at the location, usually just take it out and eat at car or home, still cant beat the flavor, staff is always friendly here

Something that makes a great business, be it a single location, or a franchise business with over 2,700 locations is *consistency*. It is a more difficult task across multiple locations, but somehow Jimmy John's has been up to the challenge.
This downtown LA JJ was easy to get to, clean, and had great tasting food, all as expected. I was in town for a few days, so I interacted with various staff. Most of the staff were pleasant and hard workers. One of the employees was a bit of a stickler on having a flyer for a special they were running. (I received the flyer from my previous purchase, and there was a stack of flyers at their pickup area at the end of the counter.) The flyer said nothing of being a coupon, which would have to be presented. So this one stickler would not honor the flyer price, as I did not have the flyer in-hand. Luckily I was staying across the street at the Westin, so I just walked back to the hotel, went up the 20 or 30 floors, got the sacred flyer, then retraced my steps, and handed them the chit bond (..."C-h-i-t"). The poor cashier then did not know how to price it, and his coworker had to take over the register. Not quite freaky fast that time, but they eventually figured it out. And the world continued to spin! Such amazing displays of prowess and finesse is exactly why I keep going to JJ!
Pro Tip 1, try asking them to keep the bread in when you order.
Pro Tip 2, try variations of the JJ Boxed Lunches to save a couple bucks and get a more rounded meal. You will need to add a drink though.
Pro Tip 3, if you want a loaf of their bread for home, maybe with soup, or to try your hand at home-made sandwich making, or even to feed some ducks, ask for their day-old bread and toss them a couple coins.
Pro Tip 4, know how much is enough.
