LA lacks good Cajun food and this is one of the first Southern cuisine restaurants I've eaten from that's truly hit the spot. It's even a bit too salty for me, but that's Southern food.

Colorful, full of vintage decorations. I ordered a beignet and a café au lait with a muffaletta to go. The beignet was a little rough on the exterior, but very delicious. The powdered sugar adds a soft bite. The café was good, nothing special. I had the muffaletta later, and that was delicious! Overall, I'd definitely come back to try their other items. We had just ate, so we really didn't get a full dining experience. Their little market felt empty, but they had some good selections of creole and cajun seasonings and pre-made roux. Their bar next door is really cool too. Highly recommend checking this place out.
