Insane flavor on the surf and turf po'boy sandwich - in the top ten sandwiches I've ever eaten. LA lacks good Cajun food and this is one of the first Southern cuisine restaurants I've eaten from that's truly hit the spot. It's even a bit too salty for me, but that's Southern food.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon (LSOB). Place wasn't too busy. Parking is on the street, so it may be difficult to find a spot.
The inside has a lively vibe. Colorful, full of vintage decorations. I ordered a beignet and a café au lait with a muffaletta to go. The beignet was a little rough on the exterior, but very delicious. The powdered sugar adds a soft bite. The café was good, nothing special. I had the muffaletta later, and that was delicious!
Overall, I'd definitely come back to try their other items. We had just ate, so we really didn't get a full dining experience. Their little market felt empty, but they had some good selections of creole and cajun seasonings and pre-made roux. Their bar next door is really cool too. Highly recommend checking this place out.
