I actually came here thinking it was still that French restaurant, but decided to eat here anyway anyways. The Kottu roti is excellent, as is the yellow rice, and string hoppers with curry (use the circular hopper like a piece of bread to eat with your hands). I also got butter chicken, even though this isn’t an Indian or Pakistani restaurant, but the version here tasted like it had a richer depth of flavors.

Best Sri Lankan Authentic Cuisine in Los Angeles – Santa Monica This is hands down the best Sri Lankan food we have ever tried on the West Coast, and honestly, even better than many Sri Lankan restaurants we’ve tried in New York. The flavors instantly reminded us of home something we hadn’t experienced in a very long time. 🇱🇰❤️ We traveled as a group of 8 all the way from Pittsburgh, PA, where there are no Sri Lankan restaurants at all. After 6 days of traveling around California, finding this restaurant felt truly special. From the very first bite, it brought back authentic home taste that is so hard to find outside Sri Lanka. We tried many classic Sri Lankan dishes including kottu, fish cutlets, nasi rice, lamprais, egg roti with curry, and more. Every single dish was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The spices, textures, and aroma were exactly how Sri Lankan food should be, truly authentic and unique. Parking tip: There are plenty of paid street parking spots around the restaurant, which can be busy on Fridays. We visited on a Tuesday evening and found many empty spaces easily. Additionally, there is free parking available in the nearby residential neighborhood just one block away, which is very convenient (except Monday mornings). The experience was made even better by the warm and friendly service from Rachitha and Nayomi, the owners who personally run the restaurant. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and at home. This place is a must visit for anyone looking for real Sri Lankan food in LA. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back whenever we are in California!

Yum. Never been to Sri Lanka but my mouth thinks it has! The fish fry satisfies with a spicy yet crispy explosion in your mouth. The mixed sampler is a great place to start. Try a little of everything. Bring you foodie posse and share. You’ll walk out stuffed and satisfied.
