This place is really overpriced; the food didn't taste good at all. I ordered the steak sandwich, and it lacked flavor — no salt or anything. And for that, I paid $22. The ice machine was also broken. I spent $52 on two sandwiches, lemonade, and water. No thanks, I won't return.
Delicious concept 🎉 Chef Frankie and his team are doing an amazing job. The taste of the sandos are amazing, from the garlic with the mushroom to the heirloom tomatoes and fresh dough!
A completely novel and unique concept in a sea of mundane restaurants. The Neapolitan style pizza dough was the highlight of the meal. Baked fresh to order with house made dough, results in an experience for dough lovers.
The pastrami holds a high standard, with thick cut slabs with the right ratio of fat for the perfect tender texture. Not overly salted so the texture leans more to smoked brisket, rather than hammed cold cuts. It almost reaches qualities that can be had in Katz. The price of this is also very affordable for the quality and quantity.
Unfortunately the meat was not warm enough to keep the dough at temp, causing the dough to get tough as it cooled.
The meatball might be the perfect dish to exemplify what sandough represents. The heated sauce keeps the dough at the perfect fluffiness and the cheeses flavor as well as provide texture. It is the most simple form of what makes this place great.
The funghi was flavorful but had a bit too much grease, with either the cheese splitting without emulsifiers in the mixture or the additional garlic confit oil. I would also have enjoyed it more if it had more varieties of mushrooms. But as a whole it still exceeded expectations.
I will be back to try more cold versions of sandwiches to see how temp affects the texture of the dough, especially the mortadella.

if you’re in the mood for a calzone but without traditional ingredients: pepperoni, sausage, etc. then this place is spot on. basically like the name is a play on words, it really is a pizza sandwhich.
tried the chicken milanese and it was heaven, the bread was softer than a normal pizza and puffier. the chicken was perfectly breaded, they put the perfect amount of marinara and mozzarella so nothing overpowered anything else.
i need to try everything on the menu. not sure how cold pizza sandos would taste but down to try
