  Do note that this is a Vegan ramen. Meatless protein. Simple setup and choices of menu. Owner most willing to explain the different tastes before your order. The difference between Singapore or not is simply a smoke filled cover over your ramen. I feel it’s unnecessary. Taste of this vegan ramen is pretty good. My friends and I enjoyed it. Very suitable for vegans

  To be honest, idk how this place got 4.9 The worst sushi and ramen I have ever eaten. The rice was so overcooked that it became a pure. Too much rice compared with the topping. No soy sauce/ginger/wasabi provided with sushi. The Ramen overall was awful.

  Wow. I walked a few blocks to this place while visiting LA for a conference. The high ratings were spot on. I walked in about an hour before 3pm close. The small shop was empty. I got the #9 signature ramen bowl, spicy (it wasn’t). Took about 10 minutes, so I sat and enjoyed my real cane sugar Coca-Cola. The server came out with a large covered bowl. Took it outside and opened the lid. Usually smoked drinks and dishes seem gimmicky. This smoke smelled delicious and was a perfect pairing to the aromas of the ramen bowl. I can’t quite describe the flavor profile — just full and delicious. A little smoky, a little spicy, umami richness. The seasoned sesame(?) oil was sooo good. And the noodles! Clearly freshly made. Perfectly cooked. The tofu was full of flavor too. I’m definitely marking this one as someplace to return with every downtown LA visit.

  Terrible service. We waited for 40 mins. I am 100% sure it wasn't a mistake—they clearly finished all the orders for the tables that came after us, and only then started making our food. They didn't even do the smoke plating for us and just gave us the food. I came here with high expectations because of the good reviews, so I was really upset. I can't believe we were discriminated against by an Asian server.

  customer service was great, lovely team, however as i was eating my ramen when i got back home there was hair in my food at the bottom of the bowl and not only one strand of hair, but two. i felt sick and couldn’t finish the rest of my ramen, so i had to throw it out and i don’t like food waste. pretty upset with my experience as i was really looking forward to trying this spot!
