Very sweet bakery! The service is very attentive and understanding, they have multiple cheesecakes, cupcakes, cookies, and drinks. We highly recommend the red velvet banana pudding cookie and we got the matcha with sweetener and without a vanilla sweetener and they were both 10 out of 10!
We got -
a pumpkin pie slice
key lime cheesecake
vanilla cheesecake
red velvet cupcake and a tiramisu tres leches with blueberry!

I've been here 3 times, giving it another shot each time and trying different items. The banana pudding is good. Everything else i've tried ranges from average to bad, but the tres leches takes the cake as the blandest cake I remember eating and definitely the worst tres leches I have eaten in my life. It manages to be worse than La Monarca.
It is beyond comprehension how they actually 1. managed to make such a poor tres leches and 2. Decided to put it for sale.
It's a shame, but at least there is room for improvement: just change anything to the recipe.

The red velvet cake was good, but I’m not sure the place really deserves all the hype. We also tried the walnut cake, which I personally didn’t like at all, though my family really enjoyed it.

Let’s just say I was happy finding out LA had a location. I used to have MB every time I’d visit NYC. Always such a staple. I manly have their banana pudding. I seriously lick the container clean every time. The staff is so friendly and was helpful last time I went in to make a big order. I discovered I could order a huge tub of it for bigger groups. They also have flourless pastries (not the pudding). So happy to have this near my workplace. It’s so cute and classic inside.

It's been a while since I ordered from Magnolia Bakery, and I'm so glad I decided to again! DoorDash had an outdated menu item, and instead of just canceling it, Magnolia actually called me to pick a replacement, offer recommendations, and even offered to upgrade my dessert. When does that ever happen? That really left a good impression! My order never actually made it to my home because my DoorDasher completed the order before he even came? 😅 so I'm writing this as I wait for the replacement. Still. I'm just happy be a customer again! (and I hope the DoorDasher enjoys it as much as I would have).
