While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco's delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way - on our signature open-flame grills - then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Los Angeles,CA, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

Seriously horrible service every time. They can’t accept EBT, so I paid for what I wanted which is the stuffed quesadilla combo. These quesadillas are so thin and barely any chips in the bag. Plus your customer service is absolutely atrocious no manners and have no empathy. I told myself not to go and did anyway and was reminded why I regret. Just shut down this location

I went to this store yesterday for taco Tuesday.
The minute I got to the drive through to make my order, the person taking my order kept asking me, what do you mean, what…? Like if I wasn’t speaking in English. When getting to the window, I asked for the especial of the day (3 tacos for $5). I was told it’s only with a code and this code is in the app. Somehow, my app didn’t let me log in at that moment and kept asking for verification. Again, the promo was 3 tacos for $5. And I’m trying there in front of the window and nothing. I kept asking the person at the window if they might have a way to help me out since when getting the promo ad it never said it was with a coupon from the app. And my app wasn’t working. The guy said there’s nothing he can do and that the regular price for the 3 tacos is $12 and some change. When I’m about to pay full price for the tacos, I asked him don’t you guys have other promotions????? (THEN, he said oh yes we have 2 tacos for $5) Like really???? He wanted me to pay $12 for 3 tacos when they have also a promo for 2 tacos for $5 (without needing a code). Same kind of tacos.
He saw me trying to get the code from the app (to get 3 for $5) which wasn’t working at that moment and couldn’t say anything about the 2 tacos for $5 without a code.
And I was there at the drive through window for at least 5 minutes trying to log in to my app.
What bothers me is that there’s cero customer service from that person.
My friend and I were like, “This information should’ve been said the minute we said we didn’t have a code” to give the client another option.
Then, I got home, and my boyfriend had gotten 2 orders of 3 tacos for $5 without needing a code from another pollo loco. That’s when I realized this person (I wish I had gotten his name) was the difficult one with cero customer service.
Another thing, we didn’t get our receipt, so my friend doesn’t know how much he ended up paying for the tacos at the end.
