  I travel quite frequently to the LA area and was so surprised to find that Dutch Bros had recently opened a location here. I’ve only been once before and let me tell you, I had no idea what I wanted but I trusted this sweet cashier with my life!!! And did she deliver, she created me a custom drink, and printed the receipt out for me so I could remember it and order again next time!! An absolute angel who knew I was in no way ready to make decisions before having my coffee, LOL!! I asked her name because I wanted to shout her out for her excellent customer service, so thank you Aeisha, I hope this message finds you!!! I will absolutely be returning the next time I’m in LA 🙌💙

  Absolutely cannot believe the people in front us got their drinks free because they came from Ohio the cashier with the Santa hat. While other people had to pay their drinks definitely not coming here no more. I wish I could caught in camera.

  Ordered pick up and when I went to pick it up the girl at the window with the glitter in her face said it wasn’t ready. I’m very patient and thought they had many orders ahead. I waited for about 25 min for ONE drink even though I placed it way ahead of time. I saw that many other people got their drinks so I asked if it was ready yet because it was cold and raining. And when she asked about my order to another coworker he pointed at the drink near the window. It had been made this whole time. I was very upset because she kept looking at me throughout the whole time I waited on my drink. And it was no longer a blended drink, it was all melted.

  It was busy on a Tuesday afternoon and evening, so plan ahead when you go. Order about 15 minutes before you want to pick up because the line gets long fast. The staff is pretty friendly (not as much as other Dutch Bros I've been to - maybe they were stressed due to the recent opening), the menu is huge, and customization is clearly what Dutch Bros does best. First-timers should definitely use the app to get any medium drink free, and non-dairy milk is always free too. There’s no drive-through at this location and parking can be tight, so plan for that too. I ordered an oat milk sugar-free hazelnut latte, which was solid, and later grabbed a sugar-free sparkling water with blue razz popping boba, which was refreshing and fun. this is a great stop before or after walking around Exposition Park, including the California Science Center and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. There’s also a strip mall nearby with food options, so it’s easy to turn this into a full afternoon. If you’re near USC and want customizable drinks, non-dairy options without upcharges, and a fun atmosphere, Dutch Bros is worth the stop

  TLDR: Super convenient new Dutch Bros near USC. Fast line even when it looks slammed. Drinks are solid, especially if you like sweeter coffee. Skip the milkshake if you want thick In-N-Out style. What we got • Wallaby Freeze (still a favorite) • Chocolate Milkshake (OK) •Dutch Bros is basically dessert coffee. If you love sweeter drinks, you’ll get it. Also try half sweet. •The crowd looks intimidating, but they really move. We ordered in about 2 minutes and waited under 10 for drinks. •The setup is organized: security on-site, separate windows, and a clear flow for order ahead vs walk up. •Wallaby Freeze is the move if you want a reliable, fun caffeine drink. •The milkshake was thin, more like a drinkable shake than a thick scoop shop shake. Pro tips •Do not bail when you see the crowd. Watch the pace for 30 seconds first. •If you want less sugar, ask for half sweet or lighter syrup. •If you want a real thick milkshake, go elsewhere and stick to freezes or iced tea here. •Best use case is convenience. Great if you are already in the USC area, not ideal to drive across the city and pay for parking destination. (Unless you’re a fan)
