Food when served was not hot at all. Couldn’t really see the veggies it was supposed to have. Asked for beef for protein which we paid $2 extra. Got chunks of fat. The noodles were kind of thick pieces stuck together and hard. The service person was very serious and mumbled when he gave us our food. Not from LA and had chosen to go eat here initially because of the eating and pictures of food. Sorry didn’t take pictures but we didn’t even finish our food.

This place is fire! Everything from the noodles, to the dumplings, to the refreshing cucumber salad was bold and tasty. What made our experience SO WORTH our hour and half drive was the excellent friendly service. The chef even came to our table to bring us extra dishes to try, and it was all delicious! Just go already!

We stopped by Bang Bang Noodles and it was a standout. We tried the Szechuan Garlic Noodles, Dandan Noodles, scallion Pancakes and dumplings, all delicious and full of bold, fresh flavor. The hand-pulled noodles have great texture and the flavors hit just right. Service was smooth and the casual outdoor space makes it a fantastic spot for a classic downtown LA lunch. Will definitely be back.
