- MMMelanie MyersNov 9, 20251.0I was just at the pharmacy at the Albertson's on Hillhurst. I'm a refugee from Rite Aid so this is only my second time. But even the first time, the clerk, Renee, made it as difficult and drawn out as possible but this time was way over the top. He told me my bill was $84.00. And I said I paid it on the app. He says, Where's your receipt? He insisted I go on the app and find the receipt which I couldn't do. I kept asking if he had a record of it on the computer. Also I was FORCED to pay $40 for Narcan and again he said to me, "...or I won't give your your prescriptions." I couldn't, standing in line, find the freaking receipt. (This went on for a long time -- the line was getting longer and longer.) And I was getting really upset when another older Asian woman said you can go. Handed me my scripts and I could leave after going through all that hassle. I still don't know why it was suddenly okay. No apologies. No explanation.
