We walked up to the register and the cashier said “one sec” then proceeded to send a text as we awkwardly stood there waiting for him to finish his text and take our order. Then after that was not friendly, wasn’t rude either, so there is that. But the entire encounter was just super awkward and uncomfortable. It must have been a very important text lol.
