  We went for brunch and it was great! All day brekkie had fresh clean ingredients and was delicious. The staff was very attentive & hospitable. Cute cafe atmosphere, dress up or come casual. Try it!

  A truly charming and intimate cafe with a warm, welcoming staff. The ingredients are exceptionally fresh, and every bite is a revelation. I thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant tomato soup paired with an avocado and smoked salmon tartine, garnished with microgreens and sweet cherry tomatoes. Each element was delicately prepared and artfully plated, arriving at the table like a true masterpiece. ❤️

  Bluelane delivers some genuinely impressive flavors that make it stand out in the Los Altos cafe scene. The Spiced Chicken Wrap and Truffle Mushroom Grilled Cheese were both expertly executed, offering a sophisticated twist on standard cafe fare. However, the absolute stars of the show were the potato wedges—easily the crispiest and most flavorful I’ve had in recent memory—and the PB Blueberry Protein Smoothie, which managed to be both healthy and the undisputed highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the beverage program hit a snag with the orange juice, which felt like a lackluster companion to such high-quality food. While the smoothie was a triumph of balance and taste, the juice fell flat and didn't quite match the premium feel of the rest of the order. It’s a small gripe, but noticeable when the kitchen is clearly capable of much higher standards. The physical experience of dining here proved to be a bit of a challenge. Between significant wait times and a seating arrangement that left me stuck in the harsh, direct sunlight, the atmosphere wasn't as relaxing as I’d hoped. The glare made it physically uncomfortable to sit for long periods and, frankly, made it nearly impossible to snap any decent photos of the beautiful food. If you’re visiting, I’d highly recommend aiming for a shaded table to truly enjoy the vibe. Service was the most disappointing aspect of the visit, feeling somewhat disorganized and inattentive. Having to request napkins multiple times and never receiving utensils at all made the meal feel more like a DIY project than a seated dining experience. Bluelane has mastered the menu, but until the service and seating logistics catch up to the quality of the kitchen, you’ll need a bit of extra patience to get through your meal.

  We’ve had multiple mixed experiences here. Want to like it for the food. We’ve had times when they were out of the stated side and they swapped it without notification. Today’s side was lukewarm served with hot main. So odd. Service is always bad. Friendly employees, but slow and/or forgetful and never thinking ahead. Today, we were seated. Zero wait staff to be seen after 5-10 minutes. We placed our order online. Waiter came up after I submitted the order. Said he’d bring us water, but never did. We ended up getting our own cups and water after our food was delivered. So, food served, broke down and grabbed our own cups and water, halfway through our meal when our drink orders arrived. Such a hot mess. We keep thinking if this many people come here maybe we just got a bad or off day. Glad I paid online, so we could just leave and not wait for our check.
