- PWPatricia Wieneke3 days ago5.0I just want to thank and give the biggest praise to the deli department, I so wanted the eight pieces of fried chicken for $5.99 but they hadn't made them yet... I came from Oroville to Lincoln for doctor's appointment and this was my stop Safeway I love Safeway are you still always shop at Safeway but there is not one where I currently live and I love the fried chicken so when I went in and it wasn't ready I almost cried and the lady behind the counter said well if you could wait about 25 minutes we will have some I said absolutely! I did the rest of my shopping and when it was ready they came out and brought me out my bag of fried chicken and I put it in my car and I smelled it all the way home that hour drive Even when I walked in the door both my cat and dog smelled it and absolutely it was the best meal I have had and such a long time nobody makes fried chicken like Safeway and I love fried chicken so thank you thank you thank you you really made an old disabled woman happier than hell and I knew I would never get that kind of service at any other store so it was greatly appreciated.
