I find it easier to buy flowers for my wife’s gravesite closer to where she is buried, but every time I come here, there’s always an issue with how the flowers are cut. I recently visited the Safeway florist and was very disappointed. I asked for the flowers to be cut at a 45-degree angle and about an inch or two below the rubber band, but they cut so high that they cut the rubber band itself. The staff also seemed unsure of what a 45-degree cut even meant, which was surprising for a florist. When I tried to explain and show how to do it, the lady acted like she had an attitude with me, which made the experience even worse. These are basic florist skills and simple instructions listening and paying attention would have avoided the problem. I really hope Safeway improves training and customer service, because this should not be an ongoing issue...
